Rebirth

Time, as known to us, has gone by so quickly and now I am here again, reborn in a new emotional self, still in the same physical body, moved by the ancient soul and spirit.  There was a vacuum in this blog because it did not interest me.  Instead I kept and still keep a hand written diary.

Reborn.  How so?  Well, each day I die to myself when I realise how far away I (the egoic mind) has ventured out away from my true Self and lived a physical life with no meaning.  And my soul somehow pulls me back repeatedly.  Or at least I feel that I am pulled back repeatedly every day.  To be lost in the world which is so noisy with so much going around, one gets lost in the fog.  Fortunately, like the prodigal child, I return each day, feeling tired, feeling drained, feeling disconnected from my Self, from God.

So yes, rebirth.  Each day I take rebirth to my inner self, my true Self.  If only I remember to stay home in the calmness and peace.  And if I do venture out into the world, I wish for protection from being dragged into the false, material structures that human beings have created, and to remain who I am truly.

What is Yoga really?

Yoga is just a word for stretching your limbs in meditation (silence).  There is nothing religious about it.  Chanting is one way some people use to go into meditation.  Silence is another way.  Focusing on the body is another.

We must remember that our body is designed in such a way that it allows for inner healing.  Yoga is just an approach people use.  Yes, a lot of the steps originated in India, but when I sit in meditation (or in silence), my body will move by its own accord when there is an ache somewhere.  Just a simple stretch can remove the ache.

We are all made in God's image.  How we see God is how we see ourselves.  God is alive everywhere in everything.  God is presence.  God is now.  Believe in it and it heals you.

Yoga and Meditation

Do you know that in reality, yoga can be self learned? How? By focusing on the parts of your body which are in pain in your meditation. Instead of ignoring pain when you are in meditation, look at the pain and you will be guided by your true self to heal your body. You will find that your body will move after some time.

Allow your body to move according to what it wants. Don't be surprised if you start stretching on your own, even into positions you never knew you could do. Your inner self will work with your body to remove the pain.

And that is how yoga was founded. It is not like a Teacher decided on the movements. It was how the Great Teacher in meditation found various positions helped in healing.

eagle2phoenix-healthyself

Why eagle2phoenix? In my meditation many years ago, I saw myself as an eagle, a proud bird of prey, flying high in the sky. The eagle is the king of of the sky. I was a proud eagle, full of pride and ego, who got hurt, fell to the ground and died. But in death, I arose as the flaming bird of life, the mythical Phoenix, which will never die. The Phoenix can burn itself out but it can heal its self and come back again and again.

I was an eagle turned into a phoenix. My soul lives on forever. My soul, my light, my god, my being. I came from the Supreme Being, and I return to the Supreme Being. My life on earth is just a journey to work on who I really am. Caroline is just a name given to me by my earthly parents, whom I love and are grateful toward. I have to work out my life this lifetime so that I can become a more complete Being, having been fallen. I am here to learn and remember who I am so that when I return home, I am the bright light born pure.

So are everyone on this planet.

Start of a new self

Today I decided to start a new blog heal.thy.self which actually derived from Healthy Self. I was toying with the words and saw that the words can mean several things - healthy self or heal thy self. What is the self? It is the trinity BODY-MIND-SOUL (SPIRIT) which makes up a BEING. For a healthy self, we need a healthy body, a healthy mind and a healthy soul.

How do we become a total BEING? We have to be positive and creative in thoughts, words and action. We have to accept what is and stay present in the now. We have to be balanced in our views, like the TAO - yin and yang existing in harmony.

I have read so many self help books. I have journeyed through almost all the religions of our world. I have had many spiritual experiences. I have endured almost losing my mind in depression. Ultimately, everything boils down to the same thing. It starts with me, my self, my own true self - how I treat myself, my body, my mind and my soul. It is about letting go of my ego which plays with my mind.

A new self, much like Eckhart Tolle's A New Earth, a new beginning.
